The West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan Area (District 197) School Board has selected three individuals as finalists for the position of superintendent. The candidates will have a second interview on the following dates.
February 22 - Ms. Barbara Duffrin, Executive Director of Educational Services, Farmington Public Schools
February 23 - Dr. Leadriane Roby, Assistant Superintendent, Richfield Public Schools
February 27 - Mr. Peter Olson-Skog, Assistant Superintendent, Roseville Area Schools
During the second interview, each candidate will interview once again with the school board, receive a tour of the district, meet with staff and students and participate in a community question and answer session.
Parents, staff and residents are invited to take part in the process by participating in the question and answer sessions from 5-5:45 p.m. and/or attending the second interviews with the school board from 7-8 p.m. Both meetings will be held at Henry Sibley High School in room A241 for each superintendent candidate on their respective interview date.
The school board held a first round of interviews with six candidates on February 21. It is expected that the board will name a new superintendent on February 27.
