Superintendent Search

In the winter of 2017, West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan Area Schools (District 197) conducted a search for its next superintendent.

The school board contracted with School Exec Connect, a superintendent search firm, to assist with the process.

On Monday, February 27, the West St. Paul–Mendota Heights–Eagan Area School Board unanimously approved the selection of Peter Olson-Skog as its choice to lead the district as the next Superintendent of Schools.

Olson-Skog was selected from three finalists who visited the district, met with students, parents, staff and community groups, and were interviewed by the board. He is currently an Assistant Superintendent in Roseville Area Schools.
